Stunning Chanel haute couture ladies suit in a oversized houndstooth woven wool. Navy, cream with touch of tan finished with navy piping along the Mandarin style collar, down the front and along the cuffs. The jacket is lined in channel quilted navy silk as was customary for haute couture pieces with a classic gold link chain gracing the inner bottom hem. It is possible the owner replaced the buttons as I suspect the original buttons may have been a simple navy. The Chanel gold cloverleaf buttons really add a pop of glamour. Wide box pleated skirt top stitched half way with inset navy fabric waist band. The jacket and skirt were custom fitted to the client who wore a US size 2. Dry cleaned and in excellent condition, no flaws or signs of over use. Classic and a worthy addition to your closet.
