1950's black lace cocktail dress from the Saks Fifth Avenue label. The empire waistline is accentuated with an attached turquoise corded silk sash finished with an affixed bow. The dramatic back of the dress glides away in trapeze style and the illusion U neckline, that dips lower in the back, is lined in beige tulle. Fits like a US 2, the interior of the dress is silk, fitted and narrow with layers of tulle and a crinoline underneath the lace creating an A line/trapeze silhouette. In excellent vintage condition. Minor repairs to the net under crinoline, not visible strictly restoration.
