Fabulous Christian Dior beret from the 1960s. The hat is completely embellished with hand sewn bronze sequins in a lovely curved pattern. It features a slightly exaggerated, longer than typical 'cabillou' or 'stalk', also sequinned. Interior comb and grosgrain band. Originally sold by the Marshall Field and Company, an iconic Chicago department store and landmark. Excellent vintage condition. Collectors item. 18" perimeter.
