Over-the-top Chanel haute couture dated 1984 oversized hanging gilt metal medallion with faux malachite, pearls and rubies. Unique and in excellent condition with provenance from the estate of American performer whose career spanned several decades. Twisted rope style chain, over-the-head fit with no fastener. Elongated pearl attaches to ornate flat leaf shaped gilt medallion by rhinestone rondelles. Faux round and marquis shaped rubies, rhinestones and pearls strategically placed on the center medallion. Drop pearls and two large faux glass malachite gems prominently placed to draw the eye. Chain length from back of neck to top of medallion including the large flat pearls 14". Medallion 5" long x 4.5" wide. Full length 18" drop. Truly a statement vintage Chanel couture piece of jewelry. Deep Stamped CHANEL on the back of the medallion. Excellent condition. Possibly one of a kind.
