Deadstock vintage 1960's mint green wool knit jersey Courrèges dress. Purchased in late 1990's from an Australian shop that was going out of business with many pieces of untouched inventory for sale. This piece is Courrèges Hyperbole Size b which fits like a current US size 4-6.  All the classic details that make these pieces so iconic and collectible; oversized white plastic zipper, applied pockets on the upper bodice with bold Courrèges logo embroidered on the left pocket. Demi back belt with white snap details add character and shape to this simple A-line shape. Fully lined in white bamberg, heavily stitched details at the cuffs which also feature white snaps. In excellent condition. There is a slight fade line, almost imperceptible, across the lower front due to this dress being folded for many years in the stockroom. Dry cleaned and ready to wear.
